The Subatomic Gestalt was a project I did while I was a maintenance worker at the contemporary art museum, OCMA, before the venue was closed and relocated. I was making art on the job as a way of surviving as an artist doing full time work. I did a 40 minute sitting meditation on the loading dock each morning before clocking in, for about three years. At some point I began to document post-zazen.
